This MWC, Nokia, will hold a press conference announcing a new flagship device, the Nokia 9 PureView. Today 91Mobiles offers a seemingly official rendering that gives us a good overview of the hardware of the Nokia 9.
First, you will probably notice these thicker upper and lower side panels. Many companies are reaching the limits of the thin screen, and it seems that Nokia may be disadvantaged in the eyes of other consumers. This design is more representative of 2017 than 2019.
With its five-camera system in the rear, however, the Nokia 9 could be ahead of the competition. There are seven circular cutouts, including five cameras, one LED flash module and one for additional camera sensors, such as a laser-assisted focus or white balance. The camera is branded by Nokia’s imaging partner: Zeiss. If Nokia manages to record a very powerful camera, the screen does not matter.
The on / off button and the volume buttons decorate the right edge of the phone frame. However, an integrated fingerprint scanner will be displayed for authentication. Above the screen are the Nokia brand, a selfie camera, a headset and two other key smart phone sensors (light and proximity) on the left side.
The Nokia 9 PureView is expected to be announced on February 24 at the World Market Conference. Rumor has it that last year’s Snapdragon 845 processor will come. It is also believed that Nokia could release an updated version of the 5G compatible phone with the Snapdragon 855. There is now a screen of 5.99 inches with QHD + resolution, a battery of 4,150 mAh and 8 GB of RAM.
