The Honor 9X and 9X Pro are officially the first phones in the series to feature a pop-up selfie camera. Both phones are almost identical, with the Pro has an additional camera on the back and more RAM and memory.
The 9X phones are based on a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, similar to the Huawei P Smart Z. The full-screen design is based on the context-sensitive selfie camera with 16MP sensor (f / 2.2) ,
The Honor 9X Pro features a triple camera with a 48MP main sensor (Quad Bayer 1: 1.8, 1/2 “sensor with 0.8μm pixels), an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor, but the non-Pro model wide camera.
Both phones are powered by the new Kirin 810 chipset, which is identical to the Huawei Nova 5. This chipset has an octa-core processor (2x A76 at 2.3 GHz, 6x A55 at 1.9 GHz) and a GPU Mali G52. You get Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 ready for use (with GPU Turbo 3.0).
The Pro model has 8GB of RAM and offers 128GB and 256GB storage selections (UFS 2.1). The Honor 9X starts with 4/64 GB, but also offers versions with 6 GB of RAM and a memory of 64 or 128 GB. Both models have a microSD slot (up to 512 GB).
The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh, but no fast charge – the USB-C port is larger than 10W. Next to him is a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the right side of the phone is a fingerprint reader.
The Honor 9X and 9X Pro will be available in different colors in China from July 30th. the coating on the back reflects the light in an X-pattern.
